Admission Procedure
The admission procedure begins with a personal interview with Sister Karen Somerville, the principal of the school, along with Jeanette Polomsky, the assistant principal. Students will be considered for admission to Saint Francis School on the basis of academic ability, achievement, conduct, and moral character. In the admissions process, parents make a commitment to uphold the following Christian values and principles which are taught at Saint Francis School:
1. Christian love and forgiveness
2. The Christian virtues of honesty, truthfulness, obedience, and respect
3. Non-violent methods for problem solving and conflict resolution
4. Shared responsibility through frequent home-school communication

Parents seeking admission should call the school after February 1 to schedule an interview. The following documents should be brought to the interview:

1. Child's birth certificate
2. Immunization records
3. Custody papers if applicable
4. Child's most recent report card
5. Report cards from previous years
Admissions Policy
All children who request admission to Saint Francis School are considered for admission.
Tuition and Financial Aid
St. Francis School has a cost-based, needs-based tuition program. Financial aid is available for each family. Parents are asked to fill out a Private School Aid Service form to determine their financial need. Parents living in Cleveland are asked to fill out an application for the Cleveland Scholarship and Tutoring Program. The amount of financial aid awarded to the family is determined by the results of the PSAS application and/or the CSTP application.
